Heal Your Life with Tapping and Meditation

welcome

…to one mind live – a free and open access wealth of guided tapping and meditation to original music – for your listening and evolving pleasure…

about us

We started in 2014 as a live group meditation site – offering weekly guided meditations, tapping and original music to paying members. Originally a creation of Stephen Fearnley (composer), Naomi Janzen (tapping) and Naomi Carling (meditation guide), we transformed after the first three years when Naomi Carling left to pursue other projects and we began welcoming a variety of meditation guides to join us each week. On our 5th birthday, with 222 broadcasts under our belt, we decided to open up to the general public and remove the paywall so that everyone could enjoy the vast bounty we’d created.

features

Each meditation session is archived in the Listening Room for easy access. Naomi Janzen, Stephen Fearnley and a Special Guest Guide co-host pre-session chat podcast, a tap-along session and then a group meditation.
With a variety of guides – professional and ordinary people alike (meditation by the people for the people), the Listening Room offers a style for every taste!

The Meditations

These mediations are POWERFUL so please do not listen to them while driving. Get comfortable, in any position that works for you, and just let yourself be taken on a journey of transformation…

Preparing

Each session begins with a ten minute Tapping, or EFT, session led by Naomi Janzen to put you in the zone for getting the most out of the meditation to come. Unless you’re already very familiar with Tapping, you’ll want to check out Naomi’s introduction to this wonderful technique by going to this page for a helpful how-to-video. If you want more in depth information, you can find that on Naomi’s personal page by clicking here or navigating there via the Your Hosts tab above.
In addition, check out the Tap-Along Audio in the Bonuses section. A new 10 minute tapping session from the archives is added each week!

Accessible from the tab above, you can now enjoy 27/7 streaming MUSIC from all our meditations.

Sat-Kar-Tar by Eilish Bouchier

This mantra is about giving and receiving love. It sounds so simple but how many people do things for others and then complain they never get anything in return. How many do wonderful things from feelings of obligation rather than just generously giving with no expectation of receiving any thank you, validation or compensation. Giving just for the joy of being able to contribute with love. It seems the hardest thing to do is keep our hearts open amidst the challenges of life. It can seem impossible to be able to meet life as it presents itself to us when our history and our media tells us we need to protect ourselves against having our hearts broken, our greatest ideas or accomplishments stolen from us by another, or bounce back from a betrayal or severe illness with vitality and optimism that the world is a beneficent place. There is no doubt life presents challenges amidst the gifts and magic. My father would often say life is like riding a bicycle – occasionally you get to freewheel but most of the time it is uphill. This meditation is about opening the heart so you cam meet life as it presents itself in every moment with its joys,Sat-Kar-Tar by Eilish Bouchier

Rose Light, Hot Chips and Veuve Clicquot – by Stephen Fearnley

A few weeks ago my family gathered to deliver my father’s ashes into the ocean. Dad was a watercolourist and his mastery was particularly expressed in either early morning or late afternoon wet-sand beachscapes. So to honour the occasion we sent him off at his favourite beach- Mudjimba on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We chose the outgoing tide just before sunset: wet sand and pink light infusing everything. Dad called this time of the evening “galah-galah” time, after the bright pink feathers of the Australian rose-breasted cockatoo. Because we were at the beach we just had to have a big bag of hot steaming chips – and to top it off- I suppose to ‘ground’ the whole affair with our typical irreverent Irish-Australian sense of humor- we popped a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to wash down the chips. Sorry to the French. My mother, at first a little tentative, became ebullient as we grabbed handfuls of ash, laughing as we avoided being caught by the waves. There were some onlookers who could clearly see what we were doing. Some were smiling in simpatico but some had little scowls of disapproval. To them we must have been doing the ashes thing withRose Light, Hot Chips and Veuve Clicquot – by Stephen Fearnley

Higher Frequency – by JJ Flizanes

Meditation is a great tool for helping us to release resistance and get into a quieter, more centered space. While becoming “neutral”, where you offer little to no resistant thought, is highly beneficial, it often doesn’t last too far into our daily lives without years of practice. I create meditations that combine guided visualization to raise your frequency and vibration to a state of joy, hope, excitement and love so the power of the higher vibration can resonate a bit longer through our day and put us in alignment with that which we desire.   JJ Flizanes, Special Guest Meditation Guide for September 2017 Our Special Guest Meditation Guide of the Month shares their unique perspective and gives us insight into the inspiration behind the month’s 10 Minute Meditation member bonus. Letting Go – by Chris Phillips

Sometimes mindfulness meditation practice is called, exercising the letting go muscle. I first encountered the Letting Go meditation at a Vipassana retreat in Byron Bay. At the time I was holding on to a belief that was holding me back. The practice was wonderfully liberating. You can listen to the recorded meditation on Letting Go or use the following instructions as a guide: Find a comfortable place either sitting or lying down. Place your attention on your belly and see if you can notice the breath in the body. Now keeping some awareness on the breath, thinking about whatever it is that you are holding on to that you would like to let go of… a story, a situation, a feeling, a relationship… Whatever it may be, hold it in the heart of compassion. Notice any discomfort and unhappiness that you feel from holding on. Then tune in to your heart and to ask the question – is it time to let this go? Now gently say the words, “Let go, let go, let go”. Over and over. As you continue to repeat the words, see if you can notice the images, the sensations of tightness and holding on inLetting Go – by Chris Phillips
