How To Access Intuition – Pre-Session
This episode was originally broadcast Jul 1, 2016 What do not getting on a flight and composing music all have in common? They can both be the result of listening to your intuition! So we know it’s a valuable thing to do – but it can be one that’s easier said than done. What if the airline won’t let you take the next flight without paying all over again? What if you just can’t seem to get in the groove? In this pre-session we tackle the difficulty we can sometimes encounter when we’re trying to tell the difference between what our intuition is telling us and what our minds are telling us… About our Pre-Sessions: Every week, for 15 minutes or so before we began our group meditation broadcast, we opened the mics so that our members tuning in for the session could listen in while we talked about what was going on for us personally and spiritually, and what trends we were noticing. It was a fun way to get everyone settled and prepared for the journey to come, as well as a way to connect with us energetically. Slow Light in A – by Stephen Fearnley
For this months composer’s choice, Slow Light in A , I’ve once again returned to the Australian landscape for my inspiration: The south-east coastline of Tasmania , Australia, is windswept and wild and even when the sea is being whipped-up into a freezing-spray, one can still see the coastline for miles… Far-sight and long plateaus of purples with swells of blue and highlights in ochre. Calming, unwinding and horizontal landforms- the biggest skies you ever did see. ‘Slow-light’ because even with a gale blowing the clouds and shafts of sun are somehow moving slo-mo in this vast panorama. View from Cape Bruny Lighthouse, Tasmania– photo by Stephen Fearnley, June 2016 The sheer size of this landscape also sets the tempo for the music: A slow unfolding, up and down the scale of A major with 10 instruments interweaving at random intervals over a 40 minute cycle at 52 beats per minute. Each interaction never repeating – always slightly different, like a biosphere made of sound waves which you sit inside off and simply, easily, relax. ‘A’ is traditionally regarded as the key for stimulating the third eye. The Secret To Attractiveness – Pre-Session
This episode was originally broadcast Jun 17, 2016 We cover so much territory in this Pre-session, from Krishna to Tony Robbins. Listen along as we track the core essence of LOA (the Law of Attraction) as it pertains not only to attracting those we need into our lives but also in the way it makes those we need in our lives appear more attractive to us! During this chat Naomi C got “that scholar look” on her face and reflected on a new friendship, Stephen brought up the subject of how LOA played an important part in the creation of One Mind Live (juicy backstory!), and Naomi J highlighted the difference between the attracting power of thinking about what you want and feeling the joy of already having (and shared a cool trick for how to do this… About our Pre-Sessions: Every week, for 15 minutes or so before we began our group meditation broadcast, we opened the mics so that our members tuning in for the session could listen in while we talked about what was going on for us personally and spiritually, and what trends we were noticing.
