Playing The Field – Pre-Session
This episode was originally broadcast Aug 12, 2016 Part II of the discussion we started last week, where we talked about triggers. In this chat, we go into a lesser-considered source of disturbance in the realm of daily experience: the quantum field that connects, surrounds and moves within all of humanity. How can a woman crying on the street in Iran cause you to yell at your partner in Australia for not cleaning the bathroom this week? In this very illuminating pre-session chat, we explore that very question and discuss how personal responsibility and conscious awareness come into play… About our Pre-Sessions: Every week, for 15 minutes or so before we began our group meditation broadcast, we opened the mics so that our members tuning in for the session could listen in while we talked about what was going on for us personally and spiritually, and what trends we were noticing. It was a fun way to get everyone settled and prepared for the journey to come, as well as a way to connect with us energetically. Power Up Your Spoken Word with G – by Stephen Fearnley
This months composer’s choice ‘Clouds Passing By’ has been written for you to sing to… Start for 3 minutes. Then try for 5. If you go for 15 minutes you will feel enlivened ! Winter skies here. Cold dry westerly winds. Happily rugged up at home watching the clouds scud across the sky and reviewing this months’ composer’s choice Clouds Passing By with my headphones on. The Key of G. Throat Chakra. Mixolydian scale. Sounds fancy . So why the throat chakra ? We all know that ancient and modern energy medicine has clearly pointed out that an imbalance in the 5th chakra can manifest all kinds of throat related maladies. It is also the zone of self expression and speaking the truth .So what does this actually mean ? The throat is an amplifier of sound. It emanates compression waves in space traditionally associated with truth, freedom of expression, with speaking your will – as well as manifesting your will. Sound organises and disorganises matter. It does not require many words to speak the truth Chief Joseph, Nez Perce (1840-1904) This months composer’s choice Clouds Passing By has been written for you to sing to. What Opens Your Heart? – Pre-Session
This episode was originally broadcast Jul 29, 2016 What does it take to open your heart? In this chat we start out talking about how meditation can be used to open our hearts – and we detour into how furry things can open our hearts – and then discuss how the ego can sometimes put resistance in the way of heart connections, with ourselves and others. As usual, we go from serious to silly to serious in the space of a few minutes and in the process open our hearts a little bit in preparation for this week’s meditation… About our Pre-Sessions: Every week, for 15 minutes or so before we began our group meditation broadcast, we opened the mics so that our members tuning in for the session could listen in while we talked about what was going on for us personally and spiritually, and what trends we were noticing.
