Being in a Body by Fliss Wheeler

Being in a Body I’m delighted to be invited to be a guest host once again with One Mind Live. The first time that I hosted, my focus was Diving Into Body. This time, my focus is Being In A Body, which reflects my interest in our body as the expression of our spirit in the physical world. Each earthly life time, we pour the accumulated wisdom of our spirit into a physical vessel here on earth. Why do we do this? I’ve asked this question many times. Sometimes, it can be uncomfortable trying to express the fullness of our spirit through the apparent limitations of our physical body. We feel the squeeze, the squish, the constriction, the stretch, the pull, the growing pains as we live and learn, love and laugh, lose and languish. But there must be reason why we choose to be a spiritual being having a physical experience? Surely it’s more beautiful, more limitless, more expansive to be floating around in the ether than finding our way through the trials and tribulations of the physical world? I asked this question very directly in meditation recently and the response I received was beautifully simple. We want toBeing in a Body by Fliss Wheeler

Letting Go of the Day by Lori Deschene

Introduction to the 10 Minute Meditation for February Many of us end our work each evening feeling mentally and physically exhausted, and either disappointed with what we didn’t do or fixated on what we need to do first thing tomorrow. It’s all too easy to live our lives hopping from one to-do list item to the next, like life is a game of accomplishment hopscotch, and we constantly have to keep moving. But we all need downtime to relax and recharge. And we all deserve time to focus solely on the parts of our lives that have nothing to do with productivity and achievement. We deserve to have space to enjoy our friends, family, passions, and hobbies. This short guided meditation will help you let go of the day that’s passed so you can head into the night with a sense of ease and presence. Take this time for you so can you enjoy the rest of the night in front of you.     Lori Deschene, Special Guest Meditation Guide for February 2018 Our Special Guest Meditation Guide of the Month shares their unique perspective and gives us insight into the inspiration behind the month’s 10 Minute Meditation memberLetting Go of the Day by Lori Deschene

Unseen Support by Samantha J Wheatley

Samantha Wheatley is my name & I am so glad you’re here! I am an advocate for simplicity and mindfulness + finding peace within. When we have these things we are then able to open our hearts and experience joy – the purpose of life! Helping my clients, I do this through offering natural solutions to support their physical, emotional and spiritual health and wellbeing. I love to teach individuals and classes of people (either in person or online) who want support with anxiety, stress, sleep problems, digestive issues, tension, pain and other common issues. Using essential oils in conjunction with my intuitive and mindset coaching skills I am able to help my clients develop their own individual practice to lead them towards self-love through self-care (something we all lack) When we begin to take note and be aware of our physical bodies we can stop our constant thought pattern for a moment and ask ourselves “What do I need?” This process brings us back to our body and our feelings = intuition + knowing + wisdom Armed with this wisdom we can then give ourselves the love and care we need and desire.
