Getting to Know JJ Flizanes – Pre-Session

This episode was originally broadcast Sept 8, 2017 Where do you get your body image ideals and preferences from? Week One of welcoming the inspiring JJ Flizanes got us off with a bang as we look at the cultural, religious and territorial influences that dictate what we think is beautiful. Taking the Special Guest Guide chair for a 4 week run in September, author, blogger and coach JJ joins us to share a wealth of motivation and empowerment to uplevel us all. In this pre-session we find out what makes JJ tick and – most importantly of all – how she gets everyone who works with her to tick – because JJ is an Empowerment Strategist extraordinaire… About our Pre-Sessions: Every week, for 15 minutes or so before we began our group meditation broadcast, we opened the mics so that our members tuning in for the session could listen in while we talked about what was going on for us personally and spiritually, and what trends we were noticing. It was a fun way to get everyone settled and prepared for the journey to come, as well as a way to connect with us energetically. To listen to the OneGetting to Know JJ Flizanes – Pre-Session

The Crap That Happens For a Reason – Pre-Session

This episode was originally broadcast July 21, 2017 You will have to listen to this week’s Pre-Session chat with Celina Tonkin to find out what prompted Celina to say “Naomi and Stephen, you really mucked it up!” And we did. Boy, did we. But we learned from it and that’s what matters. Which is what, ultimately, this chat was all about. As Celina put it, to quote her again (because she’s so darn quotable!), “The biggest gifts in life come in very ugly packages”. And Steve and I agree. No matter how bad something was, there was always a gift of some kind in it – and hardly ever any indication from the ugly wrapping that ANYTHING good could come out of it, let alone a life-shift. Of course, with Tapper Celina in the Guest chair this month, we talk about how to use EFT to unwrap that package so the blessings inside can be revealed… About our Pre-Sessions: Every week, for 15 minutes or so before we began our group meditation broadcast, we opened the mics so that our members tuning in for the session could listen in while we talked about what was going on for us personallyThe Crap That Happens For a Reason – Pre-Session

Getting To Know Celina Tonkin – Pre-session

This episode was originally broadcast July 7, 2017 In session #1 with Celina Tonkin we talk about introverts! And extroverts and ambiverts (are you one?). This is because our Special Guest Meditation Guide for July IS one. So how did a nice introvert like Celina end up leading meditations for One Mind Live? Listen as we find out how Celina not only explains introversion but explains how to go with its unique flow…waiting for the right person to ask…… About our Pre-Sessions: Every week, for 15 minutes or so before we began our group meditation broadcast, we opened the mics so that our members tuning in for the session could listen in while we talked about what was going on for us personally and spiritually, and what trends we were noticing. The 9 Muses – by Stephen Fearnley

This month composer’s choice is dedicated to Lorrie Kazan – because she is a muse …or maybe all 9 of them rolled into one body ! Its a pretty big call I know but having collaborated with Lorrie during last month’s One Mind Live Guest Guide, I found myself being very deeply moved by her insights and meditations. At home I have a small ceramic shrine that my daughter Jasper made specifically to the nine ancient greek muses when she was a teenager. It’s where I burn incense and light candles and make little prayers. It will be no surprise to One Mind Live members that I think the 9 muses are there to be accessed – from a deep archetypal place, rich in culture, grace and most definately an interface between this world and the world that we are shaping from our futures. The muses are within us all to ask for help and guidance. The 9 muses are: Clio is the “Proclaimer ”- Muse of history (often holding a scroll). Euterpe the “Well Pleasing ” Muse of music or flutes (often playing flutes). Thalia the “Blooming ” or “Luxuriant ” – Muse of comedy (often holding a comic mask).
