Why meditate alone when you can meditate with the world?

At One Mind Live we make it fun, easy and quick to get the life-changing, you-changing benefits of meditation. And if you've never experienced the phenomenal power of group meditation before, you're in for a treat!

It's faster. It's more fun. It's easier. AND it's more POWERFUL.

Why it's more POWERFUL.

The reason GROUP meditation is so special: "The Maharishi Effect"

In 1993, an experiment was done in Washington, DC, a city known for having a very high crime rate. The experiment was carried out to prove the hypothesis that if the square root of 1% of a population meditated at the same time, with the same intent, crime would drop. It did. Significantly. For approximately 8 weeks, 4000 members of a Transcendental Meditation group arrived in Washington and meditated. Sometimes there were more of them, sometimes less. They came when they could and stayed as long as they could to conduct the experiment. The results shocked everyone (except the meditators). All types of crime, violent and non-violent, dropped 15% - 24% during that period. Civic records were scanned as far back as possible to see if the massive drop had ever happened before, or if there could be any other explanation. It hadn't and there wasn't.

Imagine what the world would be like if One Mind Live got enough people meditating together all over the globe...

Do you agree that the world could use that kind of help?

Why it's EASIER.

Inspired guidance by an ever-changing variety of talented meditation guides.

Our Special Guest Meditation Guides - a new one every month - lend their unique voices, vibes and styles to One Mind Live. This treats our members to an ever-changing variety of meditation experiences. One month, it might be about Chakra balancing. Another month, perhaps a very grounded body meditation. The next month, simple breathing. The next, guided imagery that takes us all on an unexpected series of journeys.

Having each Special Guest Meditation Guide with us for an entire month gives members a chance to really connect with the essence of that guest's personality and gifts. As we feel there are many roads that lead to the same thing - presence and mindfulness - we love that we can echo that core philosophy in this way.

As for our members, they will be treated to a continual flow of new insights and imagery as people they already know about alternate with those we will have the distinct pleasure of introducing them to. The only constant is change and at One Mind Live, change is evolution.

I wanted to warmly thank you for the 10 minutes meditation available on your website. I love it so much, I couldn't NOT say a word about it :-).  Truly beautiful soundtrack and meditation, amazing. Thanks!

The perfect combination of the tapping preparation and then the magical sounds of Naomi’s voice with the music carried me gently into a state of bliss. I understand why daily meditation could really change life. The entire experience resonates with the intelligence and spirituality of its creators!

Why it's MORE ENJOYABLE.

New, original music to meditate by every week makes it that much more blissful

Stephen Fearnley is an award winning digital media artist, composer and filmmaker. His work has been shown over the last 30 years in group shows and retrospectives. He teaches digital media and sound design for film and recently won the Goulburn Regional Art Award for his digital image “Anomalous Object, Port Kembla”. He currently works from his home and studio, Cloud Farm Studios, in the Southern Highlands of NSW and enjoys watching the crystal clear night sky for anomalous objects...of the third kind.

For each meditation, Stephen creates a new and original soundtrack by entering his own deep state of creativity and receptivity. He's a master at using tones and scales, both ancient and modern, to invoke some serious soul-connection and move us along on waves of relaxation as we meditate. The moments of synchronicity, when things "happen" in the music in perfect alignment with and in perfect support of each week's meditation (remember, this is all "fresh-squeezed" as he likes to say!) bring tears to our eyes.

IF MUSIC CAN DO THAT TO SALT, IMAGINE HOW IT CAN AFFECT OUR BODIES...

Wow loved it!!! I joined in late had to exit early…but that’s ok since I can be totally present on Sunday and plan on listening to the session then…loved what I heard and look forward to future sessions! Thanks for being the creators of awesomeness!! ♥ from CANADA eh…

As always a beautiful session this morning! My husband (and I) woke super early to do this together. Remembering that busyness is simply how the mind works and that you can still  love and appreciate your mind was a lovely intro to the space journey we went on ♥.

Beautiful and peaceful, thank you!!! Xxx

Why it's FASTER.

Starting each session with 10 minutes of EFT Tapping puts you 'in the zone' in record time

Naomi Janzen is the creator of the "Remindfulness App" a modern mindfulness app. She's also a Certified Expert practitioner, coach and trainer specializing in a self-help brain conditioning technique that's been clinically* shown to offer remarkable results in combating stress and relieving the symptoms of stress and anxiety, from physical to emotional. Called EFT or meridian Tapping, it's a form of "emotional acupuncture without needles" and it's getting more popular by the year as people discover how simple, easy and yet effective it is. We start each meditation with a short EFT session to help us leave behind the stresses and distractions of our hours leading up to this special space we clear for ourselves.

There's lots of info on Tapping in the members area so don't worry if you've never heard of it. You'll be ready to tap along and get all the benefits - including the way it gets you into "the zone" to meditate. You may have been hearing about EFT Tapping a lot lately. Either way, your One Mind Live membership comes with lots of information and help so that if you want to learn how to do it, there will be plenty of opportunity!

APA Standards for Empirically Validated Treatments

EFT Universe supports the evidence-based standards defined by the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 12 (Clinical Psychology) Task Force ("APA standards" for short). These define an "empirically validated treatment" as one for which there are two different controlled trials conducted by independent research teams.

For a treatment to be designated as "efficacious," the studies must demonstrate that the treatment is better than a wait list, placebo, or established efficacious treatment.

To be designated as "probably efficacious," a treatment must have been shown to be better than a wait list in two studies that meet these criteria, or are conducted by the same research team rather than two independent teams.

The APA standards advocate that studies contain sufficient subjects to achieve a level of statistical significance of p < .05 or greater, which means that there is only one possibility in 20 that the results are due to chance. The current status of EFT as an "evidence-based" practice is summarized in this statement published in the APA journal Review of General Psychology:

"A literature search identified 51 peer-reviewed papers that report or investigate clinical outcomes following the tapping of acupuncture points to address psychological issues. The 18 randomized controlled trials in this sample were critically evaluated for design quality, leading to the conclusion that they consistently demonstrated strong effect sizes and other positive statistical results that far exceed chance after relatively few treatment sessions. Criteria for evidence-based treatments proposed by Division 12 of the American Psychological Association were also applied and found to be met for a number of conditions, including PTSD." Abstract

This study examined the changes in cortisol levels and psychological distress symptoms of 83 non-clinical subjects receiving a single hour long intervention. Subjects were randomly assigned to either an EFT group, a psychotherapy group receiving a supportive interview (SI), or a no treatment (NT) group. Salivary cortisol assays were performed immediately before, and thirty minutes after the intervention. Psychological distress symptoms were assessed using the SA-45. The EFT group showed statistically significant improvements in anxiety (-58.34%, p<0.05), depression (-49.33%, p<0.002), the overall severity of symptoms, (-50.5%, p<0.001), and symptom breadth (-41.93%, p<0.001). The EFT group experienced a significant decrease in cortisol (-24.39%, SE 2.62) compared to the decrease observed in the SI (-14.25%, SE 2.61) and NT (-14.44%, SE 2.67) groups (p<0.03). The decrease in cortisol levels in the EFT group mirrored the observed improvement in psychological distress.
